Really? why so wide? I guess I will run these on front and a 255 45 17 in rear? How wide can I go on a 8 inch rim?

Mostly for looks. Seems to be about the perfect size for a 9" wheel where you're not stretching or pinching the tire to the rim.

Thanks for seats Darren and mike for the delivery! Put them int the car today and holy shit are they comfortable. Need to make new seat brackets tho to lower them. I feel like I'm in a monster truck sitting in them lol. Sorry to side track.

The wheels should clean up well just gotta get the peeling clear coat off and re polish them...

The seats are comfortable! I felt like I was sitting 2-3 inches to high as well when they were in the car. I was also going to look into lowering them down to create more head room in the car, it shouldnt be that hard.

Its factory for black headlight buckets and body color grille but the grille is my less favorite part of the way the car looks, but I just like the black headlight buckets, breaks it all up and will flow better with a black grille too.

And I would use a fog light grille. Either black or body color.

And one thing I was thinking about for my car. Satin or gloss headlight buckets? I cant make up my mind. The factory satin looks good. But I like it all shiny too.

You know what, Darren? I should have thought about it earlier, but I don't even need the 1" spacers I got with the wheels....I did the math wrong in my head The those Fitti's will be -1mm in the rear and -14mm in the front VS. stock. Not sure if you wanted to move them out a bit.

I need 1.5" or 2" to bolt the Eagles up to my brothers 68 or my 55. Yes, I really do like to swap rims around

They will stay on the 55 for the most part, but they look killer on the Camaro too (and every other classic car my family has )

No, but the front will be tucked in a little. The rear should be right at stock width, the front will be a little over one inch narrower overall.

These will get you back to stock total width up front. Well, 2mm wider if you want to be picky, and if all my calculations are correct:

I mensioned on the other thread about buying your wheels. I fit 275 up front on the 9.5" wide up front and 285" on 11" out back on my thirdgen '82 camaro z28. If you have 8" the 255s will be fine. You might be able to go to a 265 (odd size I think). I use a 2.5" spacers up front. I don't use anything out back because I have a 4th gen Lt1 disk rear so they bolt right in. here is a decent shot of the 9.5" 275 wide up front with the 2.5" spacer. You should be around an 1" deeper under the car with the 255 up front.

But, I like my wheels about 1/2" from the lip of the fender so I run a bit wider than stock.
