yes that they do... I am sure I will be on these two wheels for the next two nights... If by chance I get them stripped tonight then I will hopefully begin the other two this week as well.

In this picture you can see the bottom test polish on the look compared to the rest of the wheel that has not been polished yet... Still more stripping to do on the back of the wheel and in the nooks of the spokes and such...




Goal is to have these completely stripped tomorrow and then starting on the next two...

Yes of course they will be cleared once everything is good to go.

Yeah I am liking the stripping of the paint in between the spokes and on the back. That is going to have a "brushed" aluminum look while the face and lip will be a mirror polish... I think it will end up looking pretty good. Still have to strip the nooks of the spokes and the back of the wheel. I will probably paint the back of the wheel (the inner part) just not sure what yet...

I am hoping so but DAMN is it a lot of work! I had no idea it would take this long to strip some wheels... But the end result is making it worth it so far. These wheels should come out looking pretty good.

I hear ya - it's one of those things where you sit there going "...outsource it and pay to have it done or do it myself?" The more I have moments where I question that, the more I just pay someone to do it.

Yeah I am thinking I should have paid to have them stripped... hind sight is 20/20 but really I am in no rush, I have 2 sets of wheels so this is something to do until it gets a little warmer and the body work can pick back up.

Its a lot of work! I mainly am doing it because I wanted a project and I am cheap If I could, i'd pay to have it all done. Although its been a great time hanging out in the garage BSing all the time! My garage floor now seems to be covered in 6MM plastic BB's,

I had to take the day off from the garage. Got some BAD welding burn (UV) on my face...no more "turn and burn" method for me! Also got a lot of metal in my eyes from the angle grinder. Need some better eye protection when doing that shit on my back underneat the car. Woke up at 5am with my eyes on fire, my eyelids swelled shit from the UV burn. Not a good morning trying to flush my eyes out!

Although I did just setup my rear end about 20 minutes ago

Your looking at two different pairs of wheels... Two are sitting in primer two are sitting getting stripped. Well actually getting taped off as I type... Paint comes tomorrow
