The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. eh more cost, when I already have a thirdgen rear the way I would want it minus the drum brakes. Possibility for later down the road, but like I said I dont see the point to buy wheels for a car that doesnt move right now. It doesnt even resemble a car right now to me. I kinda decided on Irocs if this company I found confirms that they have 17's in stock if not then I might buy the chrome Zr1's I have a deal worked out on.

Irocs would be awesome and I don't think you should shy away from 18" Irocs if you can get them.
sooo no wheels just jackstands for now. However I may know someone with some 18" Chrome Irocs that may…MAY sell in a couple months
My car is in my original wheels, but it won't be driven on them. If you really know someone selling irocs put me in touch. Even tell him I'll buy them ASAP, cash on hand for them now.
Theres absolutley no way I'm driving across the state for one. They are all over around here and Brian has three and sounds like getting another one tomorrow.... lol
could pick up a 4th gen rear end, and keep the 3rd gen at the house, that way your only using spacers/adapters on the front.

whats wrong with a 8" wide wheel here you want the look of a 275 tire?
I had 275's on my last set of 8 inch wheels, although not recommended I still had it. I like how the 275's look in the back the best. But if I got irocs I might just do 255, although many people just run 275's anyhow.
Wheels I have just put on the back burner right now unless a deal pops up that I cant say no to... If I am buying new wheels I will wait. I can imagine spending $1500+ right now when the car doesnt run, drive or even assembled/painted.... I am assuming this car wont see the road this year anyhow.
The ZR1's were going to be my second choice. They look good.

Yes I agree, one of my favorite wheels, if I could get my hands on the ones that have correct backspacing and offset for thirdgens I would be all over it. I am on the fence about some 4th gen ones... I can get practically new chrome ones with brand new tires on them for a reasonable price or I can double that price and get irocs... Pros: Zr1's are 9.5 wide Cons: the use of adapters... Con to iroc is 8 inch wide wheel
Thats what I am doing now, found a thread 45 pages long. So many different wheels out there... But I keep coming back to a certain two...

so I might have found the last place to get 17 inch Irocs from, waiting to hear back from them.... But I cant get away from polished zr1's either, even tho I know I will have to run adapters...
