darren i'd almost guarantee in the picture my car sits lower then yours.. that had eibach sportlines that were cut! it was a 2.5/3 inch drop

same wheels with that drop.

fronts did not rub hardly at all,

rears only rubbed before i cut out the bump stop. was with 245/40/18's up front and 275/35/18 out back

My car is lowered from stock height about 3 inches... you said hardly rubbed at all, I dont want any rubbing!

So those would fit, with no spacers, and adapters, right? Sean you would recommended that tire size for them? I assume you had the 275's on a 8 inch wheel

If you can swing around $500 per wheel you can get just about anything you want design wise and fitment wise. I know Bonspeed was having a buy 3 get one wheel free sale.
If I were to run a true buget friendly wheel, I'd buy the bare 18" IROC's and have them widened to 18x10's.

where can you find bare 18inch irocs?

I am just not sure I am going to like 18's on my car, wish I could somehow see that in person. If I found a deal on 18 inch Irocs (used) I would buy them in a heartbeat, but I am not going to spend $1200 on a new set of wheels until I am sure thats what I want

Maybe @ruckusz28 can shed some light on this. Your new wheels are 18's right? Where did you get them?

The car is on its fifth or sixth set of wheels Saleen replicas with 4.75 bp, these are the ones I picked up a while back for $150...I believe you passed on them and bought the Fitti's off me the same day I bought them

Front: 1.5" spacer plus ~.3" LS1 rotor hat = ~1.8" spacing
Rear: 2.0" spacer, difference between drum hat and LT1 rotor is minimal = ~2.1"

18x9 with 50mm offset, so roughly a 7" back spacing

My last car, I ran 4th gen wheels and ran 2 inch spacer in the rear and 1.5 inch in the front... but if I can I want to avoid that... This is starting to look more difficult then I needed. Should have kept my 16 inch irocs,

Not if you run stock offset or factor in the additional wheel width. In my case, since I like the flush look better, not factoring in LS1 brakes would have put my front tires into the fender if I ran the 2" spacer like everyone says to use

Edit: I'll go take some pictures for reference. You'll be able to see how much wiggle room you actually have if you don't push the limits.

I'm running 2" spacers in the rear and 1.5" in the front on 18x9 wheels with +50 offset, LS1 front LT1 rear brakes. Wheels are closer to the fenders, might drop down to 1.5" rear spacers and 1.25" fronts.

I am running LS1 brakes in the front, will this seriously affect my wheel choice? I am trying to stay away from spacers/adapters if all possible... If I was going to run spacers I would just pick up some 4th gen Zr1's I mean I can get polished ones with tires for $1100 shipped to my door from OE wheels...
