What are 4th gen wheels?

4th gen 16x8 have +55 offset. The Eagle 077's on the blue car are 17x8 but with a +38mm that sits almost flush with fenders

Roughly a +38mm offset, or 5.75" backspace for stock rim face location. It really depends if you want to tuck the wheels or go for the flush look.

ok what about on a 9.5 inch wheel? Because if I have a choice that is what I will get.

Zero offset on 8 inch wheel will get you a factory fit, or at least very close since the rears ran a +16mm offset. Zero offset will also be called 4.5" backspace, this includes the lip (usually 1/2") and half of the wheel width.

I couldn't find anyone that produces the ZR1 style in the correct offset anymore. They are getting harder to find, and it's too bad they were only 8" wide.

That right there is the issue, I dont know what style! lol I would love 17 chrome irocs but thats almost impossible to find. Everywhere that sells them "new" realize their website is out of date and that they really dont. Do you know places I can look to find wheels that are thirdgen specific? I asked about Riddler because seems like they do, they are just on the pricey side for something I dont "love"...

Zr1 wheels in the correct offset would be nice, Chrome Irocs (17's MAYBE 18's) or something off the wall. I just dont know where to look to get ideas.

Also what am I looking for as far as backspacing, 0 offset right?

315's are a big tire for third gens. Usually requires BFH'ing the wheel wells and cutting the bump stop. Depending on how low, you will need an adjustable panhard bar and possibly rolling of the fenders. But damn, they do look nice!

Will not be putting 315's on my car, there is absolutely no reason too. 275 was purely for looks on my old wheels and will probably be the same tire I put on my new wheels if I can but in reality 255 is plenty.

Someone find me wheels, I have money burning a hole in my jar!

What's the word on Riddler wheels?

I have not heard any bad press on them. They are, however Chinese cast wheels so I'm not sure if they are JWL certified. When buying any of the off-shore brand cast wheels it's a good idea to make sure they are JWL or VIA certified.

So....how much are you willing to spend on wheels and tires? I'd go 18's at min just for the tire selection.

Ive never bought wheels new so I don't know exactly what to expect, I'm also not opposed to used wheels. I sold my wheels for $650 and have other "car" money saved up. Now that I only have a few small things left to buy for the car I can buy wheels/tires.

You out don't think 18's are too big for my car? I'm pretty low and I really don't want to make too many other modifications to fit wheels...

Where can I look for wheels specific to a thirdgen ones that will bolt up with no spacers or adapters?

i also sold my 17's for a few reasons. The lack of center caps and being able to buy any and fitment issues in the front... Also they seemed to get way too many negative comments even tho I liked them. 17's is what I feel is perfect for my car but I'm not closed minded to 18's
