    • I had to sawzall practically my entire rear suspension out because all the bolts were rust bonded to the bushings. Took a handful of blades, but it was the best way to do it.

        • A huge breaker bar with a piece of pipe on the end will do more than that impact. It will either loosen up or break.

          • That's how I did the passenger side. 1/2 with a pipe. Driverside wouldn't budge. I'll soak the bolts before.

Does anyone have lca relocation brackets? It says I have to cut 1/4" off the caliper weights.

            • I used the sawzall to cut through the bolts holding the suspension parts in.

                    • Alright I am trying to work on the tune but I keep getting up to 10.7 degrees of spark retard. Why!?!??!

New spark plugs and wires installed last weekend.

The Knock module picking up false knock from the headers?

This is with the cutouts closed too.

                      • I was just reading that people shut off the knock module. They said they have tried everything to get the false knock to go away. I guess if you watched and listened you wouldn't have a problem.

Could this be burst knock? The PCM is anticipating its going to get knock so it pulls timing even though there isn't any knock? Cause looking at the constant table apparently it the PCM sees 3.1% air flow increase it enables burst knock.

                          • an LT4 knock module would help

                            • Well I disabled burst knock and turned down the max knock and upped the knock recovery rate a little bit. Now I barely see knock.

                              Stuff done so far.

                              • Removed Skip Shift
                              • Calibrated Speedo (Accidentally put in 17in instead of 24.91in last night haha, 40mph was 24mph)
                              • Increased TPS 0% timing to 26 (will increase higher)
                              • Tweaked the VE table for under 3K a little bit (sit whacky getting really rich BLMS)
                              • Turned off Burst Knock
                              • Idle Set to 775 (Might go to 750)

She is slowly coming around. Just by changing that little bit of stuff she pulls harder (before I was getting 10.4 degrees of spark retard at WOT) and I haven't even started tuning for P.E. mode yet.

                              • Well I started trying to tune and found out I have a header gasket leak on the passenger side. So now I have Felpro 1406 and Stage 8 locking bolts on the way. Plus QTP dual 3in electric cutouts.

In other news I am going to state competition in tree climbing. Michigan Tree Climbing Championship. If you win this you go to International Tree Climbing Championship which is the best climbers in the world.
