  • I have a PTC as well, but haven't had the pleasure to test it out just yet. You really cannot go wrong with either of the 3 listed just call them up and talk to them they will set you up with something to suit your combination.

      IMO the only reason you should ever think about locking the converter is if you need a few more RPM's of efficiency to make it threw the trans without being on the limiter. Its been proven there is no real ET gain by locking it and its just harder on parts.

          It was worth at least .3 and 5mph on my buick but I'm sure the TCS 9/11 converter I had was as efficient as some of the newer designs.

          If the converter is right you'll be good - no need to lock.

          • Everyone I've ever seen lock it has gained a mph or 2 and nothing to speak of ET wise. With todays converter technology its a wash IMO.

            • Lets talk fuel system. What do you recommend? High vs low impedance injectors? My rails good for 650rwhp? I dont want to spend more then what I need.

                pretty sure you can only use High impedance injectors on factory management unless you get the versa fueler or other conversion box

                • Yeah dont wanna spend extra. There are some bosch 160 high impedance injectors on tech for sale. Can I use those

                    Bosch 160's wont idle for shit I hear. I would just look for some Seimens 80's and call it good. Even on E85 you should be able to get 700RWHP out of them.

                      • depends on the fuel you plan to run. pump gas 93 then 60s will be fine. E85 then go 80s.
