Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

So something in the harness is still screwed up. Getting feedback through the obd port causing issues in whatever laptop is plugged into it, car wont idle in park or neutral but runs flawless in any forward gear or reverse. So it cant be tuned. So its all coming back out. Its so disappointing but i can redo some things i rushed on. Hoping 2017 will be better
Car is finally done and with TJ at Bakers Engineering. Dyno tune today or tomorrow. Not liking the temp outside for this but? How much boost can you run on 93 octane? Running 12# Springs and hoping for 600-650 whp but tj says 12 is a little high for 93
Took car to get the exhaust finished up. Basically connect downpipe to catback. What a huge difference this made in sound, and i dont think i like it lol. Too quiet. Tune is scheduled for the 21st with tj @ bakers. Still have a couple issues to wrap up before then. One my speedo kinda follows the rpm to a point and settles somewhere around a 100mph. i think thats a simple fix. fuel gauge still reads full ( thought that was fixed when the 4l80e segment swap was done, but no biggie, yet). Now car wants to die when put in park or neutral but runs great when in any drive gear. Unplugged iac and it idles but at about 1200-1400 rpm. I need to figure this out. Less then 2 weeks and i still need to get the dual walbros and racetronix hobbs switch and hotwire kit installed. Im a little nervous about this. I cant wait to get into the boost a little
Finally got the trans issue figured out. It was obviously a wiring issue. Unsure exactly what but idc. Now to get the rest of the stuff done. Setting up a tune date as I type this. Hope to be able to enjoy this damn thing before summers over
Sadly nope. Actually posted it for sale a few days ago but can't figure out what I want for it. Think I'd rather have a nice boat. But I think I'm going to take it to a shop in jenison and see how much they soak me for getting the trans wiring straight. Then I still need to do my dual fuel pumps, exhaust, and a couple small things. Then it needs a good tune. I'm tired of it collecting dust and draining my account
The only way to figure it out is with a multi meter. Print out all the diagrams you have and pull the harness and go one wire at a time. It's going to suck but you'll be able to figure it out.
Update - still having wiring issues. I'm ready to just pay someone to do the harness correctly. I'm tired of dealing with it. I want to enjoy it this year. I also need a stock ls1 fuel rail if anyone has one for sale. PayPal ready. Can anyone recommend someone to figure out the harness on the west side of the state
Will try a whole new pcm later this week with a good segment swap in it. The harness is good because we dyno'd the trans after it was rebuilt and all was good. I think it's a bad segment swap
