I'm so happy when I come home from work and parts are sitting there.

                  • People have been DEEP 9s on a PT7675. Most 76-78mm compressors will give you alot of steam. Its the turbine side that kills the big end on most turbocharged LS cars.

                    • The only advantage of your 6.0 block is it will fit square port style heads. Assuming you have a turbine side that can handle it. Only play with the 6.0 if you can do it right or you wont be happy with how it runs. The 5.3 is every bit as good. Hell just the price of that block would cover alot of other expenses.

6.0 is gone. only option is the 5.3. alwaysmessedup (dustin) has the ls2 now

                        • My mistake I didnt read through all the 3xx posts lol. Good choice though. I am a big fan of the 5.3 setups.

                            • well the rest of my Huron Speed kit showed up a couple days ago. Now to continue to collect parts and pieces. Im needing a cam (tick), headgaskets (LS9), valvesprings, ARP rodbolts installed, and 60# injectors for the engine. I still have to decide on a turbo as well. Im leaning towards (with jonnys help) the t7675 so I can always go up if needed/wanted. Im gunning for 650 rwhp to start. I need to get a rebuild kit and converter for my 4L80e. I also have purchased a Moser 9" housing but need all the parts (next winter project?). My first goal is to get these finished and installed in the car. The rest I will piece together during the spring and summer. i doubt my car will be out this year but Im going to try. so much for a budget build lol. to keep the wifey happy and not get myself divorced, i have to keep spending down lol. so if anyone has parts/pieces I may need, get a hold of me. Im not against using used parts if they are good

                              • Just keep chugging along.

I got word yesterday that my unlce wants an LSx swap for his radical body mod 55 Nomad, tried to buy the Z06 cammed 5.3 I built for my dad. I just happen to have a nice 5.3 in the garage with hopes of a turbo. He said that if I build him an engine, him and his son would do all the body/paint on my Bel Air. He owns a metal fab/CNC company, his son (my cousin) graduated WyoTech for body and paint. I'm thinking of parting ways

Kind of torn...always wanted a boosted 5.3, but I could always sell him the built 6.0/built 4l60e from the Z28 and go from there. After driving this SRT-4....man, boost is addicting!!
