that's for sure! Specially sense it's starting to get warmer out.
LOL....its sort of strange to say....but I really miss it.
Getting up early to wash it and clean it, get it ready for a car show, or just getting up, taking the t tops off and just cruising around and having the sunshine shine down on top of you.
Yeah I mess those days!sigpic

Quick off subject question, the door poppers you used can they be used for a hatch?
I have three hatch motors but looks like there is alot more to making it work then bolting it up..mounting wiring and so on99 Buick Regal GS- New DD

The rear hatch motor might work, I'm not really sure. I know that's bigger then the motor that works the latch on the doors. You would have to see if you had the space to mount them. Plus the kit I bought, has a kill switch on it. Where if someone happens to break in, they wont be able to start it.
Plus I bought the heavy duty plungers. The motor runs the latch, then the plunger pops the door open.
The last 1st couple pics was it sanded down to bare metal.
The next couple pics.....that's all the bondo that was needed.
He had bondo over the whole side, he even had bondo over the holes where the ground effects bolt back on along the bottom.
Now we will put a couple of thick coats of primer on, block it out to get it straight. Then another coat of primer and wet sand and prep for paint. It just amazes me you think you trust someone (the old body guy) and he messed it all up. So in a way I'm glad things worked out, because now I know 100% it will be done the right way.
The side marker lights were actually going to paint black, I thought It would look good being candy apple red paint.
Were also going to paint the tail lights black as well. (we have an extra set) So I will see what it looks like.sigpic

I told Bryan to work on it today since he told me he was bored, but he said no. I guess sending me pics of our van is more fun. I tried
