  • Well Bryan found a gallon of coarse silver he hid just for my car. He hid it so well, he did not know he hid it.

So...I'll be going back over there tonight to prep it.

It might see some paint tomorrow

I'm not saying anything until its painted LOL!
Who knows the paint god might steal the air hoses, or the air compressor might blow up, or my car might play hide and go seek and I might not be able to find it for a couple weeks.
    WHO KNOWS!!
    Pray for me please!!

            • That's the base coat their putting over the primer. The color he's painting it is more of a Candy Apple then SOM.

                  • Yeah coarse metallic silver is the base coat.
or the 1st coat of the Candy Apple Red.
(tri coat - silver, candy, clear)

I guess we could have used a finer metallic, there are 3 different ones. Fine, medium, and coarse.
I really want it to POP in the sunlight. So I chose the coarse metallic.

                      • Well, I finished putting on all the ground effects.
                        Blocked the car out.
Blew it all off and gave it a good wash to get all the dust off.
It's in the paint booth and its not leaving until it gets painted.
So I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

                              • better dry it good, primer is like a spomge and soaks up water bad witch will cause internal rusting, primer is very porus.
