Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
thanks guys! Yeah i can't wait to put it all back together. Then to the final wheel and wax to it.
I thought the rear tail lights looked good as they were. We took my extra set of tail lights I had and tinted them black.
WOW....it did look a lot better then the stock.
You can see all the lights perfect also, even the side marker lights.
LOL....it took a lot to cover the yellow ones up front though.
Thanks for the comments!
I did get the front seats back in it last night, and I started to clean everything also.
I figure I should be all set it I work on it a couple hours a night.
The biggest thing is going to be installing the T top weather stripping and gluing it all down.
But thanks for the comments, it really makes this project worth while!
Yeah we have to figure out how to mount that rear spoiler.
It bolts on in the rear, but to try to mount those rear clips that go on the sides might be a challenge.
We will see.
Thanks for the comments though!! Its going to be crunch time to get it all done! Still needs to be buffed out (2 more times) then all cleaned up.
I'm starting to put together the interior, but I'm missing/broke a few clips.
So I need to try to find some.
Sorry guys not taking anymore pics until the meet and greet.
(if it makes its way there)
Rear spoiler is on, T top weather stripping it in, outer door felts are on, interior is 95% put back together, Mirrors are on, new molding is on the windshield, Door poppers are working, I just need new batteries I think from sitting for 2 years and in the back during the winter where there was NO heat. They work, just the light is not as bright as I remember it.
left to do:
couple interior pieces to put up
Adjust the hood
Wet sand the rear spoiler and wheel it out with a heavy compound
Oil change
ground effects under the car
rust proofing under the car
power wash the motor and wash the car
Wheel the car with Medium compound
Wheel it out with a fine/swirl remover compound
Power ball the rims
Wash the car again
hand glaze the whole car
Armor all the living crap out of the interior!
Then maybe I'll get to drive it on the road! I actually called and got my insurance starting tomorrow!
LOL...I think that's it. I know I'm missing something. I hope I get it all done in time.
The last couple days my Brother in law and I have been working till almost 11pm trying to get it done.
All I can do is keep working on it.
