yeah me eigther! Yeah I cant wait. I paid more $$ on it today, so a little at a time.
I'm glad its all in primer. We did the hood so that just needs to be blocked straight.
We should be ready to go in the next few weeks!

Plus the kit I bought, has a kill switch on it. Where if someone happens to break in, they wont be able to start it.
Plus I bought the heavy duty plungers. The motor runs the latch, then the plunger pops the door open.

Ok ty todd.. I will see how it goes here when I start tearing into it..

              • Well, the passenger side is all blocked out and re-primed.
                Next is the drivers side.
Once that's done, then just touch up a few spots and we can start to wet sand the whole car.

Then its into the paint booth!

What we plan on doing is painting the bottom, just under the ground effects. Then put a couple coats of clear on. That way the bottom (under the ground effects) is all sealed and should be good for another 20 years.

Then were actually going to install all the ground effects on the car.
Then paint the whole car metallic silver, and then the Candy Red, then clear the whole car.

That way there is no chance of the ground effects not matching the car if we paint them at different times.

So its moving along slow, but it is moving.
I have pictures on my camera, when I get time I will post them up sometime this weekend I hope.

                              • So question, the front bumper looks like its candy red, and you have a sig pic of the car being candy red, and the paint looks pretty good. Whats the missing piece of the puzzle here?
