I cant believe my luck with this thing, this car puts a smile on my face even when its battered and bruised. Reinstalled the fuel lines last night and it fired right up. No drama. Just need to clean up some wire routing, replace the serp belt, and get it back on the wheels. Then i will start addressing the cosmetics one piece at a time. It does seem like something isnt happy in the accessory system, there is an unfamiliar whine now. Likely the alternator.

Congrats! That's awesome!
On a side note, every guy on here is going to want those lines now, lol.

Started restoring the wiring harness last night. Surprisingly it all still looks to be in good shape beneath the melted plastic and electrical tape. Still got a long way to go this is going to be a very tedious job. I can only hunch over the engine bay so long before my back starts screaming at me.

Before (post fire) for comparison:

Test drove it tonight... Doesnt run on all 8. Never got a backfire or anything so im guessing its gotta be the injector harness

Thinking out loud here if i pull the fuel rail and attempt to start it all the injectors should cycle right? Trying to think how i can identify which one isnt working.-Joel

Couldnt you just pull one out, and put it in like a empty gallon of milk and crank it? Saw it on TV once.sigpic

Well in that case, that should work. Shouldn't a bad injector cause a CEL? Or is OBD1 not as "comprehensive" as obd2sigpic

I was thinking of dumping it on a hot exhaust header so it vaporizes....
Probably going to use a 5 gal bucket since it has to be big enough for the entire rail. I'll probably have my roomate crank the ignition over for me.-Joel
