      • Exhaust is on, had to wipe my phone so I lost the pictures but I will take some good ones next time out in the garage. Not nearly as loud as I was thinking it would have been but I only drove it home from the exhaust shop, so time will tell. But I did get the long tubes installed (first and only time, was a PITA) and went into a a xpipe with turn downs before the axle. Brian and I installed the long tubes and then drove it over to TLC in royal oak and Mark there did a tremendous job with the rest of it. He could have gotten a little fancier with it but I didnt want to drop a ton of $$ on this.

We will see how it goes!

            • Realized I never posted pictures of the exhaust install.

Ground clearance is well pretty bad as you can see since the car is so low but I put some miles on it today and it wasn't terrible. It is loud tho.

              • Yeah, you'll skin a few snakes with that. But you still have some clearance.

                            • So on the search to fix things I didn't like about the car I moved to the gas peddle. Mine has always been like pushing a brick and was very hard. It's the throttle bracket and return spring issue. So here is what I had:

And this way the peddle was rock hard. Made driving it a chore and made trying to run someone even harder.

                              Solution for peddle:

                              Flat hood issues tho:

Because the drop base for the filter to run the flat hood hits the new fancy bracket...

                              Hood won't close.

So fixing one issue brought me back to a issue I had long ago and before.

                              Fun times!

                              • those pictures reminded me I need to get that ugly alternator out.

If anyone has any off the wall suggestions, know where I can get a custom filter made or has any drop bases I can try let me know. The drop base I have from what I know is the biggest drop made, other then that I have a normal one...
