Is the center console and dash black? If so id change the centers of the seats to red, leave the rest black. I initially thought white and red would be a nice match to the car but that would probably end up looking like a colgate toothpaste container. Solid white like 30th seats could also be sharp!

Either way, 4th gen seats look great in 3rd gens.

If I could find an affordable way to do this I would probably consider it. From driving with this seats I feel like I am on a slip in slide tho. Moving around all over the place. Much different then my stock cloth seats... But yes the dash is black the console is black the interior has always had a black and red theme from factory. So the black seats do not stand out as much as one would think. I am still going to recover my original seats. Unless I find the all rare red leather interior (3rd or 4th gen).


I have located red interior pieces, so I can finally replace my ugly kick panels and one of my plastics that is cracked. Pretty pumped on it because I found a great deal for what looks like mint pieces. I will have a lot of spares and extras if someone is looking if not I will hold on to them since porno red is so hard to find.

Thats interesting. My 4th gen leather was grippy i never slid around in them. Must be the type of conditioners used over the years.

Got it home and opened her up



Tyler wiped them down



Then started tearing it apart





And going back together



Replaced all my plastics with some really nice mint porno red ones. Big difference and went together like new. Very happy with that.

Decided to take it for a drive and ended up getting the Brent treatment







It's only APRIL!

This is what happens right before youre about to put a LT1 in its place, bam. Looks like I didnt miss third gear after all,

Yeah wasnt the complete issue just was the issue after I snapped that as well. Time to upgrade.

Yeah the disc material probably doubled up leaving no space for it to disengage.
