          • I'd pull them and check the deck of the flange with a steel straight edge before anything else. Also look at the gaskets and you should be able to tell where they're leaking exactly.

            • I like the Stage 8 stainless header bolts I put on my Iroc. Pricey, but I think it was worth it to know they won't back out.

              • Initially on the Malibu I installed the fancy metal type crushable header gaskets supposed to be the best money can buy. Could never get them not to leak. Installed el cheapo paper header gaskets that came with the headers and haven't had a problem since. So in my case the fancy gaskets were actually the problem. Just my .02

That's what I run, worth the money. Do them once and forget about 'em.

                      • Maybe the bolts are just a little long and when you tighten them they are also bottoming out, next time you tighten them slip a regular washer or a lock washer between bolt head and header or both..

Didnt think of this. I'll check it out next time I'm under the hood.

What do you guys use to reattach the headliner to the car? What type of glue? Mine is starting to come down, t tops off all the time will do that.

                          Child labor anyone?

                          • So I need a clutch, after talking a little with Brian I am sure that's another issue my car has... Great. I have still been driving the car, I can just tell its starting to slip, not bad unless going on the highway at 85MPH+

Talking with Brian about clutches, and what I should get, thinking maybe just a stock replacement or maybe something a little better, any opinions?

                            • I think I went with some cheap organic HD clutch. Mainly because I wanted it to be the weak link for now...I'd rather burn up a clutch than explode a trans or rear end
