One o2 entirely, or one set of o2s (fronts)? If just fronts, I'm not 100% familiar with OBD2 cars but I would think it'd be OK it'd just throw a code.- Brian Meissen

It all depends on how much you trust the open loop fuel tables from a mail order tune. I would want accurate fueling for a first start, especially after a rebuild.sigpic

Its my understanding that the car doesn't read off the o2's until it comes up to temperature and goes into closed loop. So starting the car to check for leaks and ect wouldn't even allow it to get into closed loop. Yes, that is correct. Since it won't be going closed loop, you have to trust the open loop fuel tables. Typically min ect for closed loop is around 90-130F so it doesn't take that long. If it was able to go closed loop, fueling can be adjusted.Originally posted by c0ncEpT View PostIts my understanding that the car doesn't read off the o2's until it comes up to temperature and goes into closed loop. When it rains it pours. Battery was dead, had it on the battery charger/booster for couple hours last night. Seems like it doesnt have power like it normally does.
My gauges dim, dont remember them dimming. Going to try a different battery tonight and see if that helps.
The motor is turning over, but kinda feels like something else is wrong. Going to pull a plug and see if we have compression like we should.
I have two short videos for you guys.1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 6 Speed
