Or they make a gallon sized mineral spirits can with a tray. Fill the tray with bolts and lower them into the mineral spirits and let Em soak for a bit.

We have a bench grinder with wire wheel and a parts washing machine. Everything that comes out of the parts washer has to be put n the bench grinder to get it just right.
We were talking and I dont think I have ever done anything to this car that wasnt messy. lol1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 6 Speed

i have TR6's in mine, thats what Livernois recomended for my setup. TR55's should be ok for your expected HP level i would think. not sure if you will need to re gap them or not though.Originally posted by nascarnate326 View Post
my spark plugs have a few thousand miles on them. They look kinda dirty and gross. TR55's.
What plugs should I run?

I was a bit iffy on going gloss black on my valve covers since they're already black to begin with, but I'm glad I did. Nate, I'm sure you'll be glad too.

Put the motor together today.

I believe the rockers are all adjusted and ready to go. Tightened to zero lash and then another full turn. I expect some more work will be needed once its fired up.

Ran into a small issue. I think the engine shop put this sensor on the wrong side. The motor mount bolt would rub if we installed it as is.
Ill have to reverse that tomorrow.

At this point waiting on parts from Darren and I will be able to finish it up and then move on to the K member.Last edited by nascarnate326; March 16th, 2013, 06:08 PM.1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 6 Speed
