OK guys, do I need to run 4 02 sensors? Plan on replacing all of them as I want this motor to run 100%.

Remember I have longtubes with ORY and no cats. I have bung's for 4 02's.

Previously I had them "tuned" out(dont know if thats true or not) and I only used the front two.

Doing things right this time.

The rear o2's are used to monitor catalytic efficiency. Using them in your case(no cats) would accomplish absolutely nothing.

My rear's are tuned out functionality wise, but if i unplug them they throw a code, so i just leave them plugged in, i'd like to just get them completely tuned out so i can remove them with no CEL

Easier and cheaper for me. 2 new 02 sensors sure as hell beats 4 new 02 sensors.

Thats probably a question for your tuner. obdII is foreign to me.

The only thing that would need to be done to the tune is to disable the P codes associated with non functional rear O2s so the SES light doesn't come on.

Ok then I believe it's already set up that way since I don have any ses codes.

Going to slowly put it back together as parts come in or are ready. Motor will not go in the car until its warm.

need to send the PCM out and get it tuned before I get ahead of my self.

Paint heads silver or leave them in blasted aluminum?

Opti came in, gaskets, came in, got alternator premiered, and took apart the coil bracket to get it cleaned up and painted.

I would leave them bare aluminum, painting them would be too much work for little reward.

they are really dull right now. Everything is going to be "pretty" and these heads just bare.
