Do what we did with Sam's Monte. POR-15 everything you can - really makes that red stand out!

      • if anything the rear will get hi-temp black and the rest of the underbody will be painted to match the car. My floorboards are already done but I haven't gotten to the back yet.

            • hmm...time to save. Looking into C6 ZO6 with lip, 17x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rear (56mm offset). Thinking 245/40zr17 front and 295/30zr18 rear. Plan on lowering in the future and not too into rolling lips. Probably gonna have to do the bfh mod or run a .25" spacer still.

                  • So I've got a race lined up with my dad. Don't know when but I know it'll be before summer's end. I think I'll beat him still...

355, domed pistons, 11.something:1 compression (static), Dart iron eagle heads (200cc runner vol.), cam is 254/250 .55x/.55x on a 110+4 Oh yeah, and an edelbrock carb...

                      • Yeah I know. To me the Camaro still feels like a 13 sec. car.

probably is, you need to get them both to the strip and find out.

                          • At this point I don't think it's worth lining up with my dad...car made ~270 on a Mustang dyno today. So after new heads, cam, headers, and x-pipe it gained a whopping 10hp.

But he did buy me a pull sometime in the next few weeks.

                            • you should just come out to the dyno day, you would put down better numbers at Jake's than on a mustang dyno

                              • Looking like I won't make it to the track until September easy, car is sitting with the fast installed but no throttle body...my oem 78mm doesn't fit so one way or another I'm going to get a 92mm TB. No new wheels this year, intake setup is probably the last thing I'll do to it for 2010. Guess I've done enough to it for the year?
