  • Well swapping the 195 back in seems to helped. Averaging 20mpg mixed city/highway and slow traffic jams with a few pulls.

On another note, since I'm likely getting another car to drive daily, will any shock/strut work if I lower it? I know I can get them from work pretty cheap.

Thinking C5 deepdish's, chrome, with KDW's. Planning on running 315's in the rear if I can make them fit.

      • Also, is it necessary to have adjustable lca's/panhard bar? I plan on doing the heater hose mod in the rear and a 1.2" drop in front.

I don't think so. Kolin put lowering springs on the front and heater hose in the rear and called it a day

          • Heater hose mod is kinda half assing it IMO but its your car. I'd just pony up and get some Vogtland springs. Toss on some KYB AGX's all around and call it a day.

                • Ordered some suspension goodies from Creight. No drop or wheels yet though I have to wait a bit and see where my money situation's at. Vogtlands seem to be a good price. Are the KYB's designed for a lowering spring?

                    • I dunno yet if I want to lower and get wheels, or just lower or get wheels. Don't know if I can afford both, might have to wait until mid-August...have some other stuff to buy this summer still, like a tv since I had to throw my old one out, and maybe a radiator for the fps....oh yeah and a headunit and amp.

                        • I do know of some 18" Ronals near me but I don't really like how they look. I do really like those C6 deepdishes though. Played out maybe, but not where I'm at...The way things are going I probably won't be getting a drop or new wheels/tires this year anyhow.
