If I could have fit 325/50's (minitub) you know I would have. And maybe when I build the new rear I will do just that, with narrowed axle tubes so I can run some sick lip too.Originally posted by ThreeHonks View Posthaha i can only imagine. those are big tires too. they look wayyyy bigger off the wheels

hope you know those nittos aren't going to hold any clutch dumps they are by far the worst of all the radials out at the moment.Doing less with more

They last 5x as long as any other drag radial too. For a car that sees a lot of street miles and doesn't make a whole lot of power they are a great choice.Originally posted by DETROITMUSCLE View Posthope you know those nittos aren't going to hold any clutch dumps they are by far the worst of all the radials out at the moment.
You will want to pick up a set of ET Streets for the track if you want to hook tho.

It' just that I need to get other things done first before I really start dead hooking, mostly a new rear, but I'm planning on a 6pt. bar this summer.Originally posted by DETROITMUSCLE View PostI used to DD on those tires and they are great for that I just hoped you didn't expect to dead hook them lol good plan.
I think a new rear, cut down a few inches per side (2-3) and some deep-lip 15x12's in the rear would look good.
