Looks like I'm going to order my tires tomorrow and get them delivered to the dorm...275/60/15's Nitto NT555R

Wish they made them in a 295/55 because I don't want to get new tires every time I change the oil.

If I could have fit 325/50's (minitub) you know I would have. And maybe when I build the new rear I will do just that, with narrowed axle tubes so I can run some sick lip too.

325/50's will fit without a tub... Not that you would want them but they can be made to fit with a BFH, fender roll, and some trimming.

They last 5x as long as any other drag radial too. For a car that sees a lot of street miles and doesn't make a whole lot of power they are a great choice.

You will want to pick up a set of ET Streets for the track if you want to hook tho.

I think the 555R's will be ok for the time being, at least until I get a narrowed 8.8 in there, and some different wheels.

It' just that I need to get other things done first before I really start dead hooking, mostly a new rear, but I'm planning on a 6pt. bar this summer.

I think a new rear, cut down a few inches per side (2-3) and some deep-lip 15x12's in the rear would look good.
