that rim won't come close to fitting without mini tubbing the rear, no need to have that kinda tire unless its an X275 car and even then it could be overkill.

its going to look fine. you cant even tell the area that gets cut with the wheel on. 28" tire is a great mod for these cars and really fills up the wheel well nicely. (I have the heater hose mod done as well, no issues with that and the taller tire FYI)Originally posted by Fbomb View PostI bought adjustable lca's
Not too worried about cutting things either, more about how to make them look clean still. I'm thinking about doing the heater hose mod along with the taller tires as well.

Well I've gotten set back most of the day. This morning had to go out and clean the garage, get all of the garbage moved out of the way. Dad had his Corolla parked in there with the buell, lawnmower, snowblower, and quad. Now, the battery for the 67 doesn't have enough of a charge to fire it up. Awesome.
On a more positive note, tires were mounted and balanced today, also got a pilot bushing for $1.62

Speed bleed line. The LS1 T56 uses a slave with a bleeder that sticks out the side of the bellhousing. I bought a speed bleed line with a valve in it so I can do it solo...ran out of DOT4 today though.Originally posted by Lucky SOB View Posthow are you bleeding it? drilling a hole in the tunnel?

ok, but how are you opening and closing the bleeder screw on the side of the bell housing? I can't get a wrench in there and using a socket sucks because there's zero room to get your finger in there to flip the direction lever back and fourth.Originally posted by Fbomb View PostSpeed bleed line. You can use a short socket on a 1/4" swivelhead ratchet. It's a PITA though. Speed bleed line is like 3ft. long so I'm actually opening/closing it at the trans crossmember.Originally posted by Lucky SOB View Postok, but how are you opening and closing the bleeder screw on the side of the bell housing? Sorry Vinnie, I'm not too familiar with speed bleeders I guess. Can you install such a device with the trans already installed?Originally posted by Fbomb View PostYou can use a short socket on a 1/4" swivelhead ratchet. It's a PITA though.
