Pacesetter painted ones last less than a few months before they start to rust. The coated ones still rust and were more expensive than these.

$331 shipped with gaskets and a pretty sticker
If these things are anything like the eBay headers I have (which probably are damn near the same) be prepared to beat the hell out of the primary closest to the steering shaft (Joel can vouch ) and a little bit near each side where the primaries come near the k-member. I'm not sure if it will be different if you get a tubular k but all I know is these eBay headers need to be beaten like they owe you money.

It's also 93/94 timing cover. I think only the block is different.

Well during the test fit they didn't touch either side of the k member but it may touch the steering shaft. Won't find out until it's time to put her back in.

      • Unfortunately once you bolt the kframe in, you'll probably be closer to it touching since it will flex either end up a little bit.

I swung the motor foward and backwards and it didn't hit it. Unless the motor moves side to side it shouldn't. Again, I'm happy I choose to get these at a fraction of cost as some coated pacesetters.

          • I just ground material off of my K-member where my PACESETTERS hit on the passenger side. I would rather remove some material from the K-member than bend the tubes of the header. You have the K out right? Just check all clearances while it's out of the engine bay and you should be okay. It's not rocket science.

            • For the money I saved with eBay headers...30 min to dent the headers is totally worth it. Joel did mine, never had an issue since they were put in.

Totally agree. Even for the LPP headers I bought which at the time was the cheapest stainless steel headers around.

                • Should be super easy to tell if it's a 2 or 4 bolt considering you had the whole motor tore down.

Have a little faith in me lol

                      I know it's a 2 bolt main but I'm wondering if there ever was a 2 bolt main LT4.
I'm curious to what the differences ate between a LT4 block and an lt1 block. Not internals nor bolt ons. The block themselves.

How much did you pay? New? Used? Painted or coated?

Edit: all I am saying is so far I haven't had to modify a SINGLE thing, yes I may have to dent the primary for the steering shaft but these will out last any painted or ceramic header for LE$$

Haha yeah but in 5 years when you're replacing your rusted out pacesetters, you can spend more money again to do nothing to make your next set fit while the 30minutes of work to get the cheapo ebay ones to fit will still be rust free.
