The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. I bought my old 93 Z28 back, now it needs some TLC
if its not hurting anything, get a car cover for it and make yourself work on it once a month, especially if its all paid for and not hurting anything
my opinion, good luck either way, I like the purple better than most of the colors anyways

Started on some body work tonight, the hood, I am determined to fix it. I straightened out it pretty hammer and dollying it. Pics are on the phone of before and after, I'll upload them soon!

Your in a tough spot to try and sell it. Body all striped of stuff so not a good roller except for strip use. Engine out and apart so its really a project car not worth much. It would seem to me you need to get it running to sell it for more than 500 or 800. With it running might get 1000.

I talked to my pop tonight and he thinks I need to get it finished. I have the money to get the machine work done and get rings and pistons. So if anyone wants to see some friggen progress please give me some links to rings and pistons or should I go with his suggested ones, which I haven't a clue if the brand. Also on a bright side he is letting me put it in the garage!!!

Buy the stuff from your engine builder that he recommends, that way if you have problems, its his fault not yours.
Let him make a few bucks on the parts, its the same reason tire places will charge more when you bring them tires to install.

Lol I got the car into the garage, win for me! No more sitting outside. I contacted my buddy at the machine shop and he is going to order the rings and pistons.
Now I suppose my next decision is cam. I was pretty set on the cc503 but I have heard it's an old cam and I can go with a newer grind from ai. Any input? I need to get on my computer and upload some pictures. Alot of my posting is from my phone.

Hotcam is a bit on the small side. Id like to have a nice chop to it and I don't want to rev to the moon to make some nice power.

I was checking out Joel's YouTube page and wow! That car is putting down some power!!!
I stopped by the machine shop this past weekend to get an update. I guess he has been very very busy. He is getting me prices on the rings and pistons again (not that I need a quote, the cash is there, I'm ready to get this show on the road).
I have decided I'm keeping the a/c.
I hope y'all haven't given up on me
