Time and money. Working full time and school full time = no time lol.
I want to keep it around,I dont owe anything on it. I know If i sell it I wont get much out of it. But it needs tons of work. Not even the motor...Interior, paint and body work, trans work, LTs, exhaust, I am guessing I have at least 3-4k to get this car in mint shape and with the motor work done also.2002 Z28 Camaro A4

Yeah, your at the cross road where most projects fail. You did a lot of the elbo work with little cash investment, now its time to invest the $$ and it is hard to justify. You seem to start and be headed to make this a track car and that means big $$ on engine. No short cuts. Good luck with what ever you decide.sigpic

I would invest more time and money but having 3 vehicles, 1 being my main priority ( the 99 ) and keeping my winter car on the road and to last me through the winter are my priorities. Also working 40+ hours a week and going to school full time takes my time up, then the girlfriend is like another full time job, but don't tell her I said thatOriginally posted by Plum Nuts View PostYeah, your at the cross road where most projects fail. Bahahahaha this question makes me feel like I am in a group therapy " How do you feel about the things you have done "Originally posted by nascarnate326 View PostDo you regret tearing it all apart?
Just kidding, but really... Yes and no, I do because I wish I would of just drove it, and its really hard to sell it in its condition.
No, because if I keep it around I will end up finishing it out over time. Parts are only going to get cheaper (to some extent, as long at the motor doesn't become extinct)
Also, I will prove all of the naysayers saying I won't get it running again.

UPDATE!
I got thinking and talking to my buddies and I think my best bet for this car will be-
Option 1) Replace - all gaskets, rear main seal, all bearings, water pump (with stocker), plugs, wires, get some painted longtubes (used?), fix body over time, new carpet, new dash, new headliner and all of the other odds and ends I need.
Option 2) same as option 1 but put new rings and pistons .030 over. and a BABY cam, maybe hot cam.
I am thinking of making this my dd in the summer. Even with all of the stuff I want to do to it (cc503, port heads, full exhaust, full suspension, etc) I will still be lower hp and higher 1/4 times then the 99.
Suggestions? Please and thank you!!!2002 Z28 Camaro A4

That's one opinion. lolOriginally posted by Lucky SOB View PostAgreed, make it a good cruiser. The 99 will be cheaper to go faster, and look better doing it
Honestly, I'd do bolt-on's on the LT1, then DD it and have some fun with it. That's all I'm doing with my '94, bolt-ons, exhaust, fixing the problems it has, making it look good, then just driving the hell out of it.Nick H.

Bolt ons aren't cheap, I am either going all out or keeping it stock or close to it.Originally posted by 93formulalt1 View PostThat's one opinion. lol

LCA's - 80
SFC's - 100
LCA brackets -60
PHB - 100
LT's - 250 for painted ones
ORY- 100
Catback - 250 (at least)
CAI - 200-250 with aftermarket elbow
TB - ? 150?
Air foil- 40
Thats approximately $1400 all depends on whats used vs new. Thats not including lowering it or gears. IMO I just don't see in having a bolt on LT1 when I have a bolt on LS1...2002 Z28 Camaro A4
