      • I think these would look great on it.

But for $130 these would be a huge improvement over the stock steelies even if he just painted them black.

              • Well a decent amount happened.

This is becoming a common theme...maybe my car secretly wants to be a motorcycle.

Pulled the header off up at school. Yep, looks like shit again.

During this time, I decided it would be a wonderful idea to Plasti-Dip my wheels to make them look much better than the nasty surface-rust+black paint they were.

                The fronts:

                Comparison shot:

Rears all washed up, ready for drying and paint.

I had taken the header to QC Coatings in Shelby Township, and they did a great job ceramic coating this sucker inside and out. Looks 10 times better than that POR-20 ever did.

Also had them re-coat my Strut Tower Brace since the factory powder coat was peeling off.

Yum. Shiny > Burned off shitty "high-temp" paint.

Shoes all remounted. Yes, I know I need rims, don't remind me :

Also, my old 8000K low HID kit went out (one of the ballasts stopped turning on completely, no sign of it going out, just boom, done), so I bought a new 6000K High/Low HID kit from DDMTuning.

                And for comic relief:

                  2. you don't need rims, what you NEED are tires! Driving with bald rear tires is a bad idea in the rain/snow.... fun but a bad idea
                  3. Header looks great!
I am surprised you haven't purchased the powell tow hooks. I did but I am not sure if I will install them

                    1. Yes I am. Had a busy school term haha.
                    2. Correctamundo, especially with impending snow. The backs still grip better than the fronts on the dry, haha. I'm looking at Kuhmo Ecsta ASX, they're cheap, and they're okay in the snow and grip nicely in the dry/wet.
                    3. I agree!

You bought them? Where do you go to buy those things? I don't really have a place/need for them, but they seem to be all the rage.

                      Yes I bought red ones.
You have to e-mail glora. I plan to take my tuner to a road race event next spring. That or if I ever get stuck in the snow I can be pulled out easily. but who knows if I will ever install them....

Oh, okay, sweet. If I did one, I'd probably just do the front.

Thanks! And yeah, that's the stuff. It applies really nicely and so far has been really durable. If/when I repaint all my grilles, I'll be using that.

                              • Got new (rear) tires as a Christmas gift from my parents. I went with Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positions.
