I'm not even sure how he found that, but it's hilarious.

Dude, thin, even coats will virtually eliminate any chances of the paint running. It takes a little longer to do, but the extra effort shows in the finished product. . . I guess for an exhaust piece, it doesn't really matter though. Looks decent. Now do work and get some vids up!

You don't get thin coats with this. You have to bake it to cure it between coats. They say to do two coats, max.

Plus, the header is on the back of the engine, so you won't see it. Especially if I wrap it.

Ahh. I see. Are you planning on wrapping it? What kind of time frame are we looking at before you have it installed?

                • Thinking about it.

Time frame is whenever I get around to it. Aka, when it warms up, haha.

                    • Thanks Sam! Definitely will let ya know. If there's a weekend where it'll be about 50 and sunny, I'll probably give it a shot then. Just gotta get a welder and weld the 3-bolt flange from the stock downpipe (that I had welded on) to the new one. So yeah, I'll be running a semi-open downpipe for a little bit.

                        • That it does. Might be able to do it at the place where we're working on my buddy's Impreza, once we get it back to running/driving status...that has heat, is indoors, and there's a welded there.

I need the downpipe flange changed to the 3-bolt, so that's the main hurdle I have...
