Well just tried looking it up, couldn't find anything at shoebox or anywhere else. I think I paid 25 bucks used for mine off CZ28.

I believe what i rememer hearing was certain wires had more resistance than others, and that O2's were sensitive enough to pick this resistance up, and throw the reading off.

      • I had read on CZ28 as long as you use a wire that has a lower resistance value than the factory 02 wires that it should be OK

        • All I know is its yellow, copper, and came in 40ft lengths at autozone.

How will I know if what I used is working or not? Can I try and use it?

          • Without getting all techy and into Ohms law etc. Simple rule of thumb smaller wire has more resistance. so that being said, if the wire going to co2 is 16-18 gauge use 14--12 gauge wire you can see the difference and its bigger you should be ok. Your only adding a foot to a foot and a half.

            • The wire appears to be roughly the same size, but Im assuming since the extension wire is copper, and the original o2 wire is silver colored its probably less resistance.

                • Yeah i can't tell a difference, maybe the mounting points on the back are different. Not sure how your going to mount them, but i put the retro 1969 Z28 badges on my Z last summer. I ground the prongs off the back, slightly had to flatten the badge to fit the body contour, and then used emblem adhesive to fasten them to the car.....no problems with them so far.....

                    • One says left and one says right.

I'm gonna agree with Adam and say it has to do with mounting.

                      • Larry there different, but I dont see a difference. Ill just order 2 of one side. I think they'll look good especially being white to match the car.

                            • Well Ive got an update! Huston, we have a transmission...

A big HUGE thanks to Mike Ridings! One of the nicest most patient people ive dealt with so far this build! Id highly recommend him!

What I got done last night! Hours of work, not much accomplished, really long story that involve dropping a bolt in a BAD place and taking EVERYTHING apart to get it.

Check out the shiny billet servo, nice compliment to the purple converter.
