In time.... Still have to get it all together, order a cat back, take it to be installed, take it to phil to let him finish the tuning, order a cluster, have the milage adjusted to match the current cluster, have the AC charged, and if I have time this year ill wire up the cruise control. A little bit of a list haha.

Tomorrow morning im going to extend the o2 sensors, pickup the gasket kit for the AC and install the line that goes on the back of the compressor, and finish up the vacuum and pcv stuff, then ill sit and wait for the phone to ring, which may not happen until monday, haha.

But as of the last hour or so im thinking of painting the engine bay tomorrow(which originally I had never planned to do), so we'll see how that goes.

There's probably not gonna be a better time to do some painting than now while the engines out, i say go for it!

yeah man, paint the engine bay for sure! then brian and I can catch up we are also waiting on trans and torque conv. I'm glad to hear you got the k frame bolt out. That had to brighten your day. Don't forget to plan on front end alienment ASAP. Your moving at good rate. good luck with the next couple of days.

Well its far from perfect, but its primmed! There was ALOT of rust by the battery(pretty common from my understanding) and a fair amount on the other side too, also some bubbles on the core support and other various places. I spent 3+ hours with a wire wheel on an air grinder today, followed by a good cleaning and then I tapped it off and laid the first coat of primer. I did not do the whole engine bay, baisicially the whole thing just not behind the hood struts should look quite nice. Im using black primer and man, it sure did look nice before it dried, I almost want to shoot it black, but id still end up with some white here and there, and im just not looking to go to that much effort for something Im going to drive rain or shine.

What color white should I use for this? Also what type of paint? Just rustoleum?

Started to extend the o2 sensors, but I can out of solder, so Ill have to finish tomorrow.

The gasket/seal/o-ring kit for the A/C will be into tomorrow so I can put the lines on the back of the compressor.

Then I can shoot some more primer tomorrow and stop by after work and lay the first coat of white if im happy with it, otherwise it will be another coat of primer.

Left the camera at home today, suppose I could have went and got it but I put a full day in so Ill have some pictures tomorrow.

Good luck finding the place rolo, its not at my house or even close! And if you do, just remember, I know how much you hate the wings and it sure would be a shame to seen a red and white camaro with the wings logo on it when you walk out to your car in the morning. Haha!
