Yea, I will be polishing it if I can use it (see throttle cable bracket problem). And the coil packs are just sitting there along with the rail and injectors, all of it needs to be cleaned and painted before it actually gets installed.

Well I know this is old, and slow. But, I figured out the throttle body issue, heat + BFH = problem solved. So I blasted it and may paint it, looks pretty good now id say. Coil packs and brackets are done, along with everything else on the motor (including the power steering ) YAY! Oil pan and all that crap is done also, so TADA the motor is completely done.

After I get some motor mounts it and the trans are going in there new home, the v8 cradle assembly, then the house is moving to a new neighbor hood if you get my idea....

EDIT: The above analogy was TERRIBLE at best, sorry to waist you time, lol.

                            Fine.... heres your pictures.....

But you have to read through the update first, haha.
The v6 is sold(basically) so I started unhooking it from the kmember last night, its just sitting there now, just needs to be picked up and loaded. Did a major cleanup on the garage. Got all the tools put away and re organized, took out traash and got rid of all the parts boxes, and then swept the floor. Looks so much nicer, and you can find stuff now, which helps alot.

The 5.3 is completely ready to go minus 2 small things, one of which you all can help with, which way do ls motor mounts go? There are 3 holes in one side and like rivits in the other. I have them on now so that the holes are facing up, is that right? Does it even matter? Second is the EVAP bracket, which im going to see if my neighbor can fab up for me.

I finished the harness, got the crank angle sensor plug repaired and wiried up the conections for the new MAF, since im using the truck MAF (bigger) it uses a different connection a 5 wire one because it has the air temp sensor built in, so I had to rewire the MAF and AIT into one for the new maf. Glad I wont be doing any more wiring for this build.

Balencer is on with the new bolt now, so thats taken care of.

I just realized the heater hoses are different, so if you have ls1 heater hoses I REALLY need them.

Only stuff left is for Mike Ridings to get me hooked up in the trans departement, lower the v8 onto the new kmember bolt up the trans, and put the motor in!

Heres the pictures you all wanted!

Need a 98-02 dual fan radiator or condenser, I have a spare of each.

New V8 kframe assembly (thanks again adam)

                            In all her glory

Also got the TB cleaned up

Heres how the mounts are now, is this right or are they upside down?

I need these for an LS1 car!

                            There you have it.

Thanks joel, it came out better than I expected. I had to make it look nice since I cant use FRC's with the truck coils and brackets. I had origionally planned to and to do a little custom work, filling in corvette, shaving 5.7, and redoing them completely, but I cant use them unless I switch coils and brackets and thats not in the budget.

Just realiezed I forgot to post about the exhaust. I should have my coated pacesetters and y by the end of the weekend.
