          • I'll probably be selling my TR 224 this fall for $250 in order to get a little bigger cam. Let me know if you'd be interested in it.

            • I probably would be. You went to mid michigan motorplex last weekend right? What do you think of the place? Its about 20 minutes from our campground up north, I was thinking about going to the test and tune saturday, but ive never been to a track before and not really sure what to do or any of the hand signals or anything so I wanted someone to go with.

                  • Mid michigan seems to be a great track, even though I have never been. Going your first time the best thing to do is WATCH a few people run. If you are on street tires avoid the water (drive around it) and very minimal burnout is required if any at all. Once you are finished with the burnout you want to drive up to the line slowly and watch the staging lights, you properly stage when both lights are on and then prepare to launch the car. Do not rush here, reaction times DO NOT affect your 1/4 mile times at all during test and tune, when you are ready leave and if they car spins badly or slides out let off and save it for the next pass. Once your comfortable leaving off the light its best to leave at the 3rd yellow instead of waiting for the green and will allow much better reaction times. Before you run you may want to walk down to the finish and see when the track ends so you know when to let off, just be careful when braking and turning dwn the return road as to not hit the guy in the other lane. Just take it easy and have a good time you will LOVE it

                      • I mean get ready to launch the car and after the light turns green don't feel obligated to go right away, when you do go if the car starts to spin real bad and get out of control you'd be best off just letting off the gas and letting it straighten out again. Lots of guys seem to want to keep the pedal down and that is what causes accidents when you slide over into the other lanes ect. At this point you have spun so bad the run is crap anyways so why bother hurting someone else. Thats all.
