hmmm corvette filter/regulator
maybe find a 97 vette fuel rail.
stenod, harlan and everybody used to use them with the v6 fuel lines because the stock ls1 rear mount regulator sucks.

I was wondering what the hell that was doing in your engine bay lol. I know exactly what you mean by that sense of relief Spencer. Like you I still have lots of work to be done before Phil lays his hands on the car again but I think the hardest part is over and once all the little stuff like exhaust and alignment are out of the way it'll only be another day for a good tune.

Well, no good news today thats for sure. The water pump is leaking where the pump meets the block on the passenger side. I am SO pissed. When I take it to have the exhaust welded up there going to look at it. I am NOT fixing this one, im refuse to tear all this apart again.

Also I have no power steering, ZERO, no wine noise or anything. Maybe I have the lines on the rack swapped?

Going to order my lid tonight unless anyone has a fast toys 85mm one. Apparently its what I have to use with the 85mm truck MAF im running.

More money......

don't worry spencer it'll all work out in the end. Did you use new gaskets on the water pump? It'll only take half an hour or so to pull the pump. Also you don't necessarily need an 85mm lid just get a $3 piece of Fernco from Home Depot to mate it up, but then again buying an 85mm one now is good, that way you don't feel the need to change it later

Only a half hour to pull the pump? Really? It can be done with the radiator in the car? I know I have to remove the p/s.

Yea I used brand new felpro gaskets, im pretty irritated, I paid $15 a piece for those gaskets.......

Whats your take on the power steering issue Jeff?

Hmmm the truck accessories must be different because I don't have to remove my power steering resevoir or the radiator at all. Just remove the lid and MAF assembly, drain the radiator and then pull the pump and hoses off for me. Its very weird that its leaking with new gaskets though I hope its not a crack or something like that.

The power steering is a mystery to me, other than the obvious of checking the fluid and making sure your serpentine belt is on properly I'm stumped.
