        • Dont think ive ever seen one like that.

I would guess get it where you want it and measure it with a micrometer or something.

          • calipers should work fine but a micrometer is more accurate

              • The cam should be here today or monday according to LE.
He said there is not a tracking number which is weird.

Also, I used to order number on Comp's site and nothing comes up.

you will need a 7" mic. it sound like you push rod tool was sesighned for 1 time use. comp used to sell cheep ones that you would lock down with the jam nuts and then send into who ever was building your push-rods(trend performance is down your way. set it then take it to them and walk out right then and there with your push-rods.

the tracking portion is weird unless they used usps. as for comp cam order/ grind number they are all le's desighned and orders so it may not show up.

                      • Maybe, or I can just Mic them and get as close as possible in pre made sizes.

                        It was shipped "UPS G".

huh again loyde has stumped me. i have only had delayd shippment from him. never had a cam not show up. as far as push-rods go that what i was getting at. you can set the tool, drive to warren and walk out with your push rods then. or just mic them and wait for summit or whom ever to send them. either way your getting what you need.

                              What should I do.

                              Use the one I have?

                              Get new GM one?

Spend ~$150 on the billet aluminum one?

                              • I would definitely recommend a new one. It's not worth risking a weak link over $ 100. If you have an issue it could ruin all your hard work. A new GM unit is about $75 and the billet housing from Herron is $ 125. For me the $50 extra is cheap insurance not to have to worry about a problem in the future, like you could have with the GM plastic housing.
