Which Cam?

After talking with my dad a bit about it, I think I may go with the 228/236. Also I am going to try to get my heads milled, and a possible valve job done.

if you get head work done i would opt for a 5 angle valve job. it will help alittle. key word alittle.

i only go to LE for cams

I've seen you say this on here before. I'm curious, why do you like LE's cams better than AI's, especially when using AI's heads?

dont forget pushrods. I also did LT4 knock module which I dont think its manditory but I read alot about doing it.

What would my compression ratio be if I milled the heads .02 and used a .028 gasket over the .05?

Thats what my setup is, i calculated 11.4:1. Your engine will actually be very similar to mine, just a Very slightly larger cam.

I honestly dont remember how i calculated it, that was 3-4 years ago now

It's saying it's be like 11.7, either way that should be fine with 93..


Just ordered my rockers, gaskets, and timing chain.



They're saying .006 is equal to 1 cc

so .020/.006=3.3333

58-3.3333=54.667
