Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Ok cool. Yeah, mine have the heatsinks on them which I'm told means they're LS1 coils and not the truck ones. Let me know if you decide you want anything, they're not going anywhere.
Also, I know I don't really know y'all but if you need another set of hands let me know. Wrenching parties are always fun.
Ok, im definitely interested if they have the heatsinks. Shoot me a PM what you want for everything.
I'll post up the details when i have the wrenching party probably wont be until mid december when im done with class but we'll see. Everyone here is welcome as long as you arent a new member with 3 posts

Ok cool, give me a day or two to see what stuff is worth and I'll let you know. It all came as a package deal with other stuff so I gotta find individual prices. I'll let it go reasonably though.

3 useful posts or 3 over all posts? Depending on the definition I might not be welcomed!
Just part numbers for complete units. I find it weird that you burned up a Delco unit so fast...what fuel pressure are you at? AC Delco and Delphi pumps are probably the best non-aftermarket units out
The only thing about this pump is it was used for 5000 miles in ryans car (also pretty high hp) and then 15k in mine. So the total was more like 20k. But i agree, delco pumps usually last closer to 100k
Decided that since my back has been starting to feel better lately, I am going to dive right into this year's project season. Expect a lot of updates, this is going to be a different car in the spring. Here is the to-do list, I will be checking things off on throughout the winter. Hopefully I can knock a few out tonight.
Winter 2012 to-do list:
Suspension:
SLP Level 2 Suspension (Eibach Springs, Bilstein Shocks)
New rear LCAs with heim-joints for flexibility
Upgraded rear sway bar of some kind
Install UMI torque arm
Fuel System:
UNDECIDED: Ractronix in-tank pump OR external in-line pump
All new stainless braided fuel lines, tank to fuel rail, relocated away from exhaust
Upgrade fuel injectors: Undecided
Ignition/Electrical:
Conversion to 24x LS1 PCM and Coil-per-cylinder ignition (opti delete!)
Upload base LS1 tune via HPTuners
PLX wideband
Exterior:
Tint windows 35%
Paint door locks black to match
Interior:
Re-install T-top bracket covers
Remove crank window conversion parts, convert back to power windows and replace motor
Replace semi-broken Autometer digital tach
Engine Bay:
Remove grimy filth
Install alternator relocation kit and new power steering pump
Fix battery bracket
Repair broken ground stud, cleanup factory power block
Clean up wiring, remove all crappy red insulation
Purchase and install Power Steering cooler setup
Exhaust:
Cut-out rear seat wells, weld flat sheet in place.
Modify current exhaust to clear torque arm and take advantage of new clearance
Thanks guys. I'll let ya know if Im planning any work days. Until I finish this semester at school I think its just going to be a half an hour here and there after work.
Suprised to see how far those fuel lines stick out in the tunnel. 3rd gens have a much flatter bracket so they ride tight to the sheet metal...you could investigate those as an alternative?
