Lol. I built it this way intentionally because I wanted the sound. I figured dual 3" would be "OVRKILL" for my power level anyway, it certainly doesnt have any trouble breathing

I would say from a search on tech that you should be fine (granted its ls based, but should still be close): http://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagno...injectors.html

Do LS cars use the same capacity injectors? I can't even remember what LT1s have stock.Originally posted by jetice View PostI would say from a search on tech that you should be fine (granted its ls based, but should still be close): http://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagno...injectors.html

Stock for 94+ lt1 is 24#-hr. And boo is right! I couldn't imagine how loud your car would be with open headers
p.s. I thought they had 26's in them. You are right on the edge for a 24#Last edited by jetice; October 14th, 2012, 07:09 PM.

Hmm, ill have to check into that.
Also, i will 100% for sure be doing SLP springs/shocks this winter as well as new founders LCAs and installing that torque arm. I will plan on a project beer & pizza day sometime this winter. I expect it to be a completely different car in the spring

Mathematically you are at 100% on duty cycle, and quite possibly going lean at upper RPM. 30# injectors seem to be the normal for 450 bhp NA engines.

(Brake Horsepower X Brake Specific Fuel Consumption)/(Number of Injectors X Duty Cycle)
This is with the injectors flow rated at 43.5 psi. I like to see the duty cycle below .85. BSFC is typically between .45 and .50 for NA cars - .50 is normally used for the calculation
