AC was fully updated a few years ago so yes it actually works perfect!

But i do agree with you. There is a lot of unecessary junk in the engine bay id like to clean up. But i want to fully understand how everything works before i go ripping away at things. Ive already learned a ton about this thing since i bought it, and part of me just wants to leave it as is and solve it all at once with a crate 350 down the road. Only goal for now is making it reliable.

Should have my radiator back early this week. Converting the stock unit to a 3-row. A little pricey but it should provide plenty of cooling capacity when i take this thing out on the dunes in a month.

Also getting ready for the dual exhaust, ordered mufflers and tips tonight

I got to hear a friends k5 blazer with a stock 305 and a single flowmaster a couple weekends ago and it sounded great. Hopefully this is even better.

Nah im gonna be lucky just to have it back together the way my schedule is this week. Ive got class tonight and i usually go out with friends thursdays. Plus homework. Need a day off!

So someone mentioned they thought i should do a timing set while im this far in. Is that likely to be worn out at 108k miles?

I think they used nylon teeth, so it's advisable.
