Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
If you're looking to stay cheap and just get "some" noise for now. Why not just replace the last muffler with something, Magnaflow, borla. Cheap-ish and will make more noises than it does now.
Not a bad option either.
Here is what I have so far with what I need for the build. Some of the prices might be a little off.

Talk to me before buying your turbo. I just picked up a Comp billet 7479 from Jon and so far this thing is incredible (and reasonably priced). It spools better than my tc78 did and it's holding boost better at high rpms. The only problem I have now is that I can't get traction with my 26" et streets rolling into 3rd gear (boost hits and I lose traction at 70mph). I just picked up some new 28" et drags to help but I might end up doing another gear swap to 3.50's or 3.2x's
Awesome to hear Dave! E-mail me over some pics and videos if you can with the new turbo on.
In terms of the headers for mean time, do 1 3/4". I have sold hundreds for C5's with 346 ci and the 1 3/4" outshines the 1 7/8" systems under the curve and does not suffer on the top end until you spin it very high or add more cubes.

I was not impressed with the Derale fans. The wiring harness that comes with them is garbage, along with the relays. In the process of ripping mine out because one fan is toast and replacing them with some Spals.

I would look into re-doing some wiring. I don't believe the Spal's will move the air the Derale's do. I never had any issues with the Derale wiring, just swapped out the fuses to 40's I believe and they worked excellent, the fuses supplied seem to be the common issue.
I'm not looking to have a dumped exhaust/muffler. My drone days are over.
I have heard nothing but good things about the Derale fans.

I got some small things done today. Finally go around to changing the oil since I don't know how long ago it was done (no sticker). I noticed a few things while I was under there. Someone left a 1/2" drive socket on the oil pan drain bolt They must have grabbed the wrong size, it was on there pretty good. Ill be needing a new bolt, i put it back on in the mean time.
My passenger side rear k member to a arm nut was only hanging on by a few threads. not sure why someone would have that out in the first place.
On the brightside the oil didn't look to bad.
When I got the car it had 2 brand new belts in the "trunk area". I pulled mine off, the serp belt wasn't in that bad of shape but the a/c had seen better days.
I took the lady friend out to dinner lastnight for some pulled pork at a local bbq place in Chelsea. Oh, the fiance came along as well.
I wanted to get some decent pics but it was pretty cloudy out after dinner.
I think ill be tinting my parking lights, rear bumper running lights as well as my tails and 3rd brake light. I thought about buying some ebay specials but i love the looks of my last 2 cars that I tinted.
I'm thinking of just picking up a set of used headers and an ory. Money saved imo. Has anyone used/heard a stock muffler on LTs and an ory?
