I'd do at least the engine in one shot. Swapping heads, cam, etc in the car is a PITA compared to doing it on a stand.

Absolutely. Leave the stock cam and heads for now. I shouldn't have to pull the motor. Spend the money up front on a higher quality turbo that comes with a warranty, I would do the same on the wastegate. The turbo is the heart of the whole set-up..... wastegate controls it. 2 important pieces I would highly recommend saving a little more and not having to worry about along with getting the performance you want!sigpic

Love the build! The SOM turbo Z is what I want and I must say you stole that car for the price that you got that car. However, I'll have to settle for my Shadow Blue Turbo Z. Are you going to go with a cutout with your turbo build?
I don't know if your still contemplating on throwing a set of headers and or ORY. But since I'm going turbo this year I never got a chance to use my TSP 1 7/8 headers or TSP ORY as well as my magnaflow catback I have a these sitting in storage. I've been battling with myself with the decision to sell or not to sell but if you're interested let me know maybe we can figure something out.

I still wonder how you get around with a car that low
I had to get the BMR 1/2" lift blocks so I didn't crush my exhaust pulling into the driveway. LT1 Pro Kit on my 98 with a 6.0, wasn't as low as yours before the blocks!

It only scrapes the wheel well plastic when turning fast. I'll be either buying a set of bmrs or cut my other stock springs when the turbo kit goes on. I had it on a hoist for the first time yesterday, I still can't belive how clean it is underneith.
New fuel filter on and exhaust leak fixed
