Oh, sorry - I was trying to show the shifter coverOriginally posted by DanDalessandro View PostThat's what boot I have. I'm not going to cut or fold it. Just won't work due to how short of have the stick and I still plan on shortening it more.
I really like this shifter. Throws are short. However, some people say that they are tight and notchy. Mine isn't really light and notchy, it is buttery smooth. I had to cut the hell out of the lower rubber boot to get it to slide over. All I hear is road noise. Plan on fixing that this weekend with the help of some insulation.

I'm going to be putting some 1/4 inch thick closed cell foam beneath the lower shift boot. From what I've read, it works very good. I wonder if it will work any wonders behind the door panels? It literally has no weight..sigpic

I just laid two pieces down in there and taped them so they won't move as much hopefully. It covers up the gaping hole I cut in the boot at least. When I get home later, I'm going to make the correct piece.sigpic

Maybe I'm wrong but idk how well that dye will hold up with sweaty hands. Spend the coin and get a C6 knob. I have had mine in 2 of the 3 fbodys and I wouldn't get anything else.2002 Z28 Camaro A4

Like a shift boot or the lower boot? I have the shift bootOriginally posted by Atrus View Post$40 for a redline goods cover. Just sayin'
I put the foam in. No real help. It may just be clutch chatter. No idea. It only happens when moving. I can have the clutch pedal pushed in and it still makes the noise.sigpic
