Lt1 brakes are the best brakes!

I'm confident I can get this car into the 13s. My first three runs were 14.308, 14.4, and 14.307. I honestly thought my last run was going to be a low 14 or 13.99 but i goofed.

I personally need to lose some weight. And I think a good motivation is I could get into the 13s without being so fat [emoji38] I also plan on losing some weight with the car. Don't need the back seats really. Also looking at some procar seats for just the driver side. $168 a piece. I always liked the stock seats but I never went on a journey with them. After sitting in them for almost 5 hours, I dislike them. Also, once I finally install my LCAs and relos, it might help.

Fasted bolt on lt1 is 11.5 I think. It weighed 2800 lbs lol.

I wish...it was a TPI LB9...

...with headers, no cat, a cutout, K&N filters, descreened MAF (probably did not help, but I didn't do it), shift kit, Hypertech chip.

Yeah, I didn't take my two 12" subs/box/amp out of the back, and I did too big of a burnout on regular all-seasons...but still, it was a slug.

15.9? I ran a 14.94 in my '99 Grand Prix GT (L36, the non-supercharged one) at Norwalk. Ported stock manifolds, off the shelf tune, high ratio rockers. "U" bend delete.

Yeah dude...it was a slug. . My Cobalt ran a 16.3 bone stock...almost as fast as the Camaro was - cause I definitely had some low-16-second runs.

You could also use 98+ brakes which are slightly smaller than C5 brakes. Youd still get 80% of the gain because 98+ calipers are dual piston. Weakness of 93-97 brakes is single piston. But i have my stock single piston brakes with raybestos blanks and hawk pads and i have no complaints. They look and function like new and have been on the car for 7 years now with track time. Good pads make a huge difference. I personally dont like drilled/slotted. They wear faster, dust more, and crack easier. But they do help prevent brake fade.

Lookup "sport seat" on summit thats pretty much the same thing i have.

I have been a fan of my fake 6le seats. Found them on ebay for like $400 for the pair with both brackets iirc. But the brackets suck, and put the seat fairly high up so I have modified the drivers side one, and haven't modified the passenger side because i don't sit there.

The procar seat with a brackets would be about 250 each side.

If joel wants to (help) make me some brackets.. [emoji14] then I'd be happy to get some of those because I like those!

I know 6le has a writeup on his site to use the factory rails and I'm gonna study it a little more and try my bestest

you can probably use stock brackets on my seats too. I wasnt aware of that method when i spent all the time fabricating mine... heh.
