If you're doing a projector, you'd definitely want to retrofit it in the high beam light, so that when you flip the highs on, it is where the highs normally are. Your current low beams would never need to come on, as there'd be no reason to, as the projector will provide a much higher quality light.
You could also do it super legit and run a quad retro as well - one projector in each light.
But as far as retrofitting the high beams for a low/high projector setup, that will use the high beam switch to move the cutoff shield.
