Two questions.
Anybody know the thread size for the temperature sending unit in the head?
And JoeliusZ28 did you relocate your alternator when you deleted your A/C?sigpic

2) I tried but i did not. with the relocation bracket i have the alternator wanted to be inside the shock tower. Something I'll be revisiting another time.-Joel

Thank you. I think I figured out the size. Summit says it's 3/8 18 NPT. I'm going to be putting a more accurate gauge in the head on the passenger side. There is a little Allen bolt there. So they should both be the same size I hope. But thanks man!Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View Post1) I don't but i can figure it out the next time im at my dads since i have an extra set of heads and thread checker there.

Plan is to ditch the AC. Never use it and I'm too lazy to refill it. And I don't even know if it works! Ttops out, windows down is so much better.sigpic

Is the stock clutch prone to chatter? I have what I think is chatter. Part of me believes that I do not have a stock clutch but something more upgraded. I've launched it pretty high and have had no clutch slippage. Plus my throw out bearing is rumbling which tells me a kit was likely not used.
Plus it engages a lot better and grabs easier than my friends and his is for sure stock.
Also, while on the subject of clutches, should I really consider replacing the throw out bearing soon? Been reading up on it and read some horror stories. It's been rumbling since I've owned it and I never leave it in neutral because of it. Clutch pedal is to the floor whenever stopped.
Thanks guys.sigpic

I realized how incredibly stupid that sounded. I was tired as hell at 7:30 yesterday
Let me rephrase:
Does the stock clutch get a lot of chatter or no?sigpic
