So it looks like I have about 2 months before the shows start up full time. Do you guys think I can do it? Here is my current list of things to do:
- Pull engine
- Replace with 350 TPI
- Get a new chip
- Drop rear end
- Replace with my Iroc rear with 3.23s, posi, and disks
- Figure out the rear brake situation (How to make it function properly)
- Sand, fill, prime, sand, paint, sand, buff
- Reinstall interior
I think it is quite the list and will be difficult to accomplish it all in this time. I would like to actually drive one of my camaros when the weather starts to break... will probably paint the 91' first.1991 Camaro RS: "Tiny Turbo Mullet"

Your progress will certainly pick up as the weather improves. But getting body work and paint down in that time, with cool temps and spring rains...that could be tough. Nothing to lose for trying.DynoDave

That's ambitious. If you can do it you will have my respect.... To hell with that. You already have my respect. Anyone who can paint a car themselves is my hero.Originally posted by C2YT View PostSo it looks like I have about 2 months before the shows start up full time. Do you guys think I can do it? Yep, paint won't be laid out until its warm. It will also be the last thing I do. And Michael I still plan on getting the tune from you, just need to get all my ducks in a row first.
As for pulling out the engine, what would be the easiest way? I removed some smaller things that might get in the way; radiator, coolant tank, washer fluid tank, just little no brainier items. When I pull the engine I plan to keep the harness intact if possible.
Also my heater core is leaking. It started leaking as I drove the car home when I bought it. How do you guys reccomend I fix that? I want to do it right, not half assed.1991 Camaro RS: "Tiny Turbo Mullet"

Easy fix. Step one, remove heater core from car. Step two, toss heater core in trash. Repeat steps 1 threw 2 for rest of AC system.sigpic
