so currently next on the agenda is as follows:
-finish engine harness (removing unneeded wiring, plugs, relays, etc. replace bad plugs, relays, and fuses)
-dial in qjet as best as possible
-clean engine bay (everything is dirty, old leaves and gunk, reservoirs are gross, etc)
-clean engine itself (valve covers, intake, etc)
-replace wiper motor
-finish tune up (plugs, wires, etc)
at this point my engine bay should be to the point where I can drive the car and not be totally disgusted by whats under the hood haha! after that I can start working on the interior!"Project Shadowfax" <- Clicky Clicky

Thanks! the video is nothing special.. just it starting up and a few revs haha! I'm hoping tonight to get the rest of the harness figured out.. I think I have successfully identified most of the plugs.. but there are still a couple I'm unsure of.. maybe I'll post them in here.. but all in all.. doing pretty good with it!Originally posted by 92conv View PostCan't watch the video here at work, but looking forward to watching it when I get home. LOL! We have a lot of fun at the show. I usually park by Brando or Bruce (gorgeous iroc, 86 I think).
A guy at my school ended up buying what he thinks is a B4C at the end of last year. Car has electrical issues for days and the engine bay is painted flat black including the tpi system. On top of that he says the car has 400+ hp at the wheels. Maybe next year he will actually do some work to it. Me, Brando, and Bruce kinda keep our distance.
Bottom line it would be great if you come out. As long as they don't change it, it's every Tuesday from 6-8.
Also, auto zone on Monroe street carries wire loom. Black, red, and blue I believe. Only 3 sizes (3/8, 1/2, and 3/4) but it got the job done. Each container is around $5, and I think I used 5 containers. Also salvage what you can from your current harness and plan on using 1-2 full rolls of tape.Last edited by C2YT; January 9th, 2015, 12:16 AM.1991 Camaro RS: "Tiny Turbo Mullet"

advacne also carrys loom should be a dorman part, if they dont have it in store they should carry it at the hub and be able to get it, otherwise best loom ive seen is the stuff that Darren is using91 Trans am, 305, Lt1 cam, 24lb injectors, headers, SLP LM2, SW chassis, massive panhard, lowered, modded TPI, Tuned, 4.10s, Lincoln locked

Here is a quick update of my engine bay.. Wiring is almost finished.. Just have to finish up the wiring on the far right for my fuel pump relay
also on a side note.. the reason my battery kept draining was because of my alternator.. if I unhook it.. it is fine. I still have a lot of cleaning to do in the engine bay.. but it is slowly getting there."Project Shadowfax" <- Clicky Clicky

another quick update.
last night I decided to clean the garage up after doing my kitchen table project.. well I knew there was a lot of saw dust and what not under the car.. So I decided to pull it out of the garage.
I started the car up and let it warm up.. after it was warmed up and everything I hopped in and put the car in gear.. and pulled it out of the garage..
there is something seriously up with this transmission! (I know you warned me when I bough it 92conv I was just hoping it was a T.V. Cable issue)
2 issues I noticed right away..
1) When putting the car in reverse, you can tell a very obvious load on the engine, but when you put it in drive, it is barely noticeable, I thought it was still in neutral
2) When in gear, an abnormal amount of pedal is needed to just get the car to creep forward.
So I would prefer to use the trans that is already in the car.. but it seems like there is something seriously messed up going on in there.. although I haven't changed the fluid or filter yet.. but I am just hesitant to put money into fluid and find out the trans is shot anyways and be out that money (unless anyone thinks its a good idea to reuse that trans fluid on the other 700r4?)
I also have no idea if the torque converter in the car now is stock or not.. but I doubt the issue I am having is because the converter is too big"Project Shadowfax" <- Clicky Clicky

Remember that thing hasn't moved more than 500ft under it's own power in quite some time. Probably wouldn't hurt to do a fluid-filter change. After that I wouldn't put any more money into though, you still have the trans from your old car right?West Michigan Pontiac Club
