• I always thought it would be a lot of fun to do a Vert.

You should look for a roller with a red interior. Sell it to Darren to offset some cost. The black interior from your RS was CHOICE.

            • Yeah the red interior thing is kind of in the back of my mind while I'm looking. lol.

              • Well guys, I finally found a replacement. I looked at a ton of cars here and Michigan and in a bvunch of other states. I really wanted to find a 91-92 Z28 or a really nice Iroc with the 350. After a couple of missed deals and a lot of cars that were way overpriced or just plain junk I found a 91 Z28. The car is all there and I think it will be a great car to play with. It is definitely rough in spots but I think it will do just fine. I'm going to need some pieces and parts and some paint work, along with some interior work. The car runs pretty strong and shifts good. What a difference from the little 305 that could! lol. Here are some pics. I need a red passenger side visor Darren. Do you have one?

                  • If an admin could change the name of the thread to Brians 91 Z28 projects thread that would be awesome. Thanks!

                    • Congratulations on your purchase! I was just looking at the listing for the car this weekend. Love the car, love the color, love the C&C T-tops....a very cool feature.

                      • Woah, I didn't notice the T-Tops in the pic....were those a factory option? Looks like you can vent them, and then also remove them like a normal T-top? That's BA!

Thanks Dave! It should be a pretty good starting point for me. I don't know much about the tops other than I have heard that it is near impossible to find parts for them.

Yep they are removable too. I guess the original owner ordered a 5.7 with red leather and ttops. To my knowledge the 350 wasn't available with the ttops. The dealer sent the car to cars and concepts to have the roof cut. I would have preferred a hard top, but you don't see too many like this.

                            • Yeah, those C&C tops are pretty rare. A very cool design though, IMO.

I see you old picture is on Woodward at the Ducati store. I hope to see you out there this year.
