Do you think they do repair on leather stuff? I have a very small (albeit very visible) tear on the leather on my driver's side door panel. Pretty much the only blemish on my entire interior.

Give them a call 248-474-7520. I'm sure that if they don't do those kinds of repairs they can recommend someone that can.

Tyler, it was $300 for the front buckets. All they did was recover them, and replace some foam on the drivers side seat. Had I known that you worked for an upholstery shop at the time I would have got in touch with you for an estimate first.

yea i think we would be right around there, hard to tell not knowing their procedures we usually do a top foam layer as well as fix the foam needing repair, and all out material is brand new as well as the thread patterns and seat patterns are all fixed verse stock patterns

Right. See if you can get me a quote for the rear seats. I plan on doing them with my Dad, but we have a lot of other stuff going on with the car too. It might be worth it to me to pay to have them done. Its a split back rear seat.

id say go to the one shop that did your fronts otherwise they may look wrong as the materials might not be the same. that happened once we had a customer come in a dn he wanted only one seat done so we did it and it made the other stick out so he took it to a different shop to get the other recovered and ours still looked better so he came in a had us redo the other one again.

Yeah, that make sense. Hopefully the ground is frozen enough that I can get the car out of storage today. Last time I was out there it was so muddy that I didn't even try to get it out.

I picked up my trans and converter Friday. One step closer. I need some more consecutive 50 degree and sunny days so I can get all of this stuff going.

irocs.jpgirocs2.jpg Finally got the car out of the barn last weekend. I put the Iroc's on and that was about it. I picked up the last of the stuff I need today, minus the trans fluid. Tomorrow we should be working on the t-top seals and maybe starting on the rest of the interior. Finally some nice weather to work in!

So, I figured out why my tops were leaking so bad. The rubber and trim pieces on the glass were on the wrong side, and there was no glue used whatsoever when the previous owner or shop installed the last set of seals. When I figured out how bad they leaked I inspected the seals and they looked brand new, no cracking at all. Needless to say I was pretty shocked to find out there was no adhesive at all, anywhere. Some people... We did make some progress today in cleaning up surface rust and prepping everything for the new seals. We used Chassis Black paint on the tbar and the panels and the tbar and around where the seals go. Here are some pictures.tops1.jpgtops2.jpgtops3.jpgtops4.jpgtops5.jpgtops6.jpgtops7.jpgtops8.jpgtops9.jpg
