One of my Dad's co workers at Jaguar rebuilds them on the side for extra money. He owes us some favors.. TCI kit, corvette servo. Quicker firmer shifts! Should be fun. Thanks for the recommendation. When I pull the trans that is in the car maybe I will give them a call. The one that is being built, I bought from a member on here. Looks like your making some progress on your car too. Keep at it buddy! I'm hoping to get mine out of storage this weekend and start pulling the seats. The guy at the upholstery shop said to get them there asap. If I drop them off soon the return time shouldn't be too bad.sigpic

Quick update.
I thought I was going to get the car out of storage this weekend, I thought wrong. The car is being stored on a friends horse farm with dirt driveways. It was so muddy that there was no way I was willing to try to drive the car out. On another note, I did pull the the seats. I will be taking them to get reupholstered Monday or Tuesday of this week. Once the mud starts to dry up I should be able to get the car back to my parents house and start on the t-top seals. Here is a pic of the factory seats. The original covers are in pretty good shape still. No rips, tears, or burns. The drivers side does show some wear. If anyone needs or wants the stock covers let me know.seats.jpgsigpic

I picked up my seats today. I think they came out great! Suburban Auto Glass and Trim in Farmington did a great job at a pretty fair price. If anyone needs some upholstery work done I would definitely give them a call. They are pretty slow right now. Turn around time on mine was less than a week.finished1.jpgfinished 3.jpgsigpic

Thanks dude! The foam on the drivers side was pretty beat down. It looks like a brand new seat now.sigpic

Lol yeah! I pulled out of the driveway of the place and look in my mirror. The hooks were the first thing I saw. What a dumb ass!Originally posted by hoogiesngrinderz View PostDid anyone else instantly think "Holy shit! That's a great way to tear up a seat!" when they saw the bungee hooks?

The funny thing is, I had a ratchet strap in the bed right next to the bungee's.
